Cards for a Cause & MORE!!!

Wow...seems like forever since I last blogged...things sure changed around here as soon as school got fired back up! Didn't take me long to get STRESSED out! LOL! But the boys are doing great & the new school year is off to a wonderful start!

First off, I'd like to share a link with you...the link will take you to Jana's blog, This Little Card of Mine, where I first came across a story about a special little girl named Kate & her family. Jana has it all lined out HERE.

I haven't been making cards for all that long, but knew that I could easily dig through my stash of previously created cards & find cards that I could send in for Kate & her family. I found three that would work, but didn't have anything for her little brother....so....I got busy & came up with this:

This card was super easy to put together...a little Cuttlebug embossing, some pp, a little stitching, a super cute chipboard rocket from the Creating Keepsakes "Mix It Up" kit & it was done! {I finally tried out some of the Elmer's glue that I won from SPCC...I used it on the "flames" & it worked wonderfully! Dried clear too! I will be using it again for sure! Thanks again Sam!}

& here's a photo of the cards I'm sending to Kate's family:

So, all of you cardmakers out there, click on over to Jana's blog for all the details! Let's send some love Kate's way!!! :o)
