Scrapbook Circle's First Ever Blog Hop !!!

Welcome to Scrapbook Circle's First Ever Blog Hop!!! If you have come to my blog "mid-hop", please start at the beginning HERE. If you came from Claude's blog, then you have arrived right where you are supposed to be!

I am so excited to be a part of Scrapbook Circle's Blog Hop; the monthly kits that Lisa puts together are always amazing and the online "community" is full of lots of fun & friendly scrappers! & what's even better? A chance to win the December Kit from Scrapbook Circle! & a chance to win a blog prize from me!

The Blog Hop features creations by the Scrapbook Circle design team using the just released December Kit "Reindeer Games". The kit is packed full of lots of goodies that I have really enjoyed creating with!

The project that I would like to share with you today is a Christmas card created using the December Kit:

"LOVE peace JOY"

I absolutely LOVE the Crate Paper North Pole Collection of patterned papers & chipboard accents that are included in the December kit; they are just so adorable! Here's a close up of the chipboard accents:

I chose to sand the edges of the chipboard just a bit...gives it that worn look that I really like. I popped up the chipboard circles with adhesive foam to add some fun dimension!

For me, a scrappy project just isn't complete without a little machine stitching :o) Here's a close up of of the patterned paper that I criss-crossed & stitched, along with the Crate Paper brad:

Supplies from the December Kit "Reindeer Games":

Your card is beautiful. I also have to sand them all, to add that distressed and aged look. It appeals to me. :) Thanks for the inspiration!
