the REASONS why...

Hi everyone! Hope this finds you all enjoying your day! Especially those of you that are MOMS! It is one of the hardest, but most fulfilling jobs on the planet...I love being a MOM to my sons...I gotta give them credit though...they make the job so EASY! Love you guys!

I have a fun layout to share with you today - I created this layout last weekend for National Scrapbook Day, & then just never had time to get it posted to my blog :o( I was just excited to actually have time to do some scrapping!

I played along with Scrapbook.com and entered the All Day Challenge and also did many of their hourly challenges...I didn't win anything, but I did it more for the fun of it anyway! The All Day Challenge was to create a layout that answered this question: WHY DO I SCRAP?

So, I grabbed the spring school photos of my sons & got busy! I created this 8 1/2 x 11 layout (have you all tried this size? I have all along been a die hard 12 x 12 scrapper, but really enjoy MIXING THINGS UP with the smaller size too!!!):

the REASONS why

& here's a close up of my journaling:

I can't get enough of the Jenni Bowlin Die Cut Circle Label Mini Papers...they are so fun! AND the Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type Alpha! LOVE both of these scrappy products!

Not only did I use some brand spankin' new product on this layout, but I also dug into my stash for some older stuff too...LOVE it when that works out! It feels good!

Supplies: White cardstock-Georgia Pacific (bought in bulk @ Walmart), PP-Daisy Bucket Designs-Playlist-Fast Forward & Shuffle (had these in my stash for quite a while...feels so good to use up older supplies!!!), Jenni Bowlin Die Cut Circle Lable Mini Papers, Cosmo Cricket-Tiny Type alpha in green, Making Memories-Mini Shimmer Alpha in Metro Black, Stampin' Up-Mini Deco brads & Black ink, Date stamp, Machine Stitching

Thanks for stopping by! Take care!

Fantastic layout...totally digging your journaling. Of course, you know I will forever be a "word" girl! Hope you are doing well! Things are busier than ever in my world but I like it that way. Once I stopped commuting to Atlanta every weekend, I began to develop a life here at home and now I am always on the go. I hope to stay more active in blogland but you know how that goes...the best intentions...:-) Hope you are having a wonderful week! Hugs and more hugs! -L
