We had a super busy weekend to celebrate my DH's mom's 69th bday...it was a great shed party!

So on Sunday, I got my scrappin' stuff out again...did a lo for sketch #1 at Pink Sketches, but missed the deadline...darn it! But just have to share the lo 'cause I think it turned out great:

Another kitten....

Several months ago a kitten "adopted" us and we took her into our home...we fell in love with her & really enjoy her even though we had no previous cat experience! Here is Shadow:

Of course, my youngest son, Joel, has decided that Shadow needs a buddy. I wasn't exactly on board with the idea of 2 cats, but our second kitten was dropped off today. She hasn't been named yet, but here she is:

Found a monthly scrapbook kit club...

I have been searching for a monthly scrapbook kit club to subscribe to & I think I may have just found it! It is called Scrapbook Circle & their kits look amazing! I already set up an account:

Having fun with finding blogs...

I am fairly new to posting layouts, etc. to online galleries. My favorite scrapbooking website is Scrapjazz! Everyone is so great on that site...friendly, helpful, & supportive! I have been a long-time "viewer" of Scrapjazz galleries, but just recently signed up for my own account...& it has been a blast! I came across a challenge from Noel Mignon using a Becky Fleck PageMap...loved the sketch, so just had to try it! Here's my lo using the sketch:

This is probably the 1st sports related lo that I have done...& I have done a ton of them...that doesn't actually use "sports" embellies! I really like the result...& I am loving doing hand-stitching on my lo's!!! Fun!!!

Just giving this a try...to see if I can even figure out how to set up a blog! Enjoying watching the Summer Olympics...& have been scrappin' this weekend! Time to get ready for the WORK week!
