Inspired to try something new...

If you "follow" my blog, you know that I have been guest designing for SPCC...this is my last week :o( I have had such a great time & been so inspired by everyone that plays along! & Samantha gives us great color combo challenges! I look forward to playing along with SPCC in the future as well! This week Samantha has a pile of decorative edge scissors to give away...I'm thinking I need to dig mine out & put them to use...thanks for the reminder Samantha!

Here is SPCC #34:

I love this color combo...gorgeous colors! I had it in my mind that I would create a Valentine's Day card...then I came across a FABULOUS tutorial at Scrapbook Circle by Aymee! Here's a link to her blog...you will want to make her a favorite! I knew I had to give her Easel card a try :o) She is so talented & always willing to let us in on her secrets...ha, ha! Thanks so much, Aymee, for sharing your creative talents with us!

So here is my easel card...."light UP MY LIFE":

I am LOVING how this card turned out! & it really was EASY! & the colors turned out so pretty together! Hope you get a chance to play along with SPCC this week!

This totally cracked me up!

Just had to share this funny ha-ha that my dad shared with me...thanks dad...you totally made my day!

First, just a little background: 1)My oldest son's name is Jeremy. 2)I love to scrapbook. 3)We had a snow storm move into our area last week on Thursday evening...I was PRAY-ING (yes, that is my one little word for 2010) for a snow day on Friday...'cause I really did not want to go to work. But I called my hubby & he said the roads were clear...darn it! I had a ton of work to do anyway, so I headed for work.

Then Friday at the basketball game, my dad hands me an envelope & says "I really wanted to get this to you yesterday..."

So I open up the envelope to find this note:

Along with this ZITS cartoon:

Priceless, huh? I LOVE IT! & so did my family...apparently they can relate :o)

Thanks for stopping by! Take care!
